New Camera settings and Emojis in windows update for testing

On Tuesday 9th February 2026, windows has released an insider preview build with new features and improvements

Camera settings

Windows have added two new options in camera’s “basic settings” namely, Pan and Tilt.
Using Pan, camera can be moved left or right. and using Tilt, camera can be moved up or down.

We find there are some bugs when we try to squeeze the camera “basic settings” window, but we expect that Microsoft will fix this issue in next update.

This new feature will get release once its testing is done and if no issues found.

Emoji 16.0

Windows is rolling back “Emoji 16.0” which includes following emojis in the emoji panel.

Face with bags under eyes
Fingerprint
Leafless Tree
Root Vegetable
Harp
Shovel
Splatter

Emojis in Emoji 16.0 are introduced based on proposals received from the community and they are selected on the basis of the Emoji selection factors which are reviewed by Unicode Emoji Subcommittee.

This new feature will get release once its testing is done and if no issues found.

Improvements

Regarding improvements Microsoft says it has “Improved the visual experience and performance for several scenarios including at the bottom of the screen when the taskbar is set to autohide, desktop icons unexpected flashing (and decreased performance interacting with your PC), and Windows Security pop up for credentials

We will see how this new features and improvements shape up and keep you posted.
