It looks like Microsoft is planning to add an upgrade plan for Microsoft 365 Family subscribers.
In new windows 11 insider preview build 26220.7859 for Beta Channel, an option has been added to upgrade plan for 365 family subscribers. With this plan, subscribers will get access to advanced features in productivity apps. More details for this advanced features and list of productivity apps are unknown. We expect Microsoft to soon reveal this.
Improvements that will gradually roll out in this preview build are:-
- In Taskbar Microsoft has improved reliability of showing app icons in the system tray when the taskbar is set to autohide
- An issue in File Explorer has been resolved where all File Explorer open windows and tabs might unexpectedly jump to Desktop or Home
- Reliability of sending larger files using nearby sharing has been improved.
- Reliability of configuring options in Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Wheel.
